Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 2026

We understand that plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains what happens if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking with RBURG Services LLC. All our packages are one-time charges per event; we do not offer subscriptions, so there are no recurring charges to cancel.

1. Overview

Because catering requires us to reserve your date, plan menus, purchase ingredients, and schedule staff in advance, cancellations affect us at different points in the process. Our refund amounts depend on how far ahead of your event you cancel.

2. Deposits

The deposit required to reserve your event date is non-refundable. It secures your date on our calendar and covers early planning work. If we are able to rebook your original date, a portion of the deposit may be credited toward a future event at our discretion.

3. Cancellation by You

If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following applies to amounts paid beyond the non-refundable deposit:

  • 21+ days before the event: full refund of any payments made beyond the deposit.
  • 14–20 days before the event: 50% refund of the balance paid beyond the deposit.
  • 7–13 days before the event: 25% refund of the balance paid beyond the deposit.
  • Fewer than 7 days before the event: no refund, as ingredients, staffing, and preparation are already committed.

4. Cancellation by Us

In the rare event that we must cancel due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit. If cancellation is caused by events beyond our reasonable control (see Force Majeure below), we will first work with you to reschedule.

5. Rescheduling / Date Changes

  • Requests to change your event date are subject to availability.
  • If you reschedule at least 14 days before the event, your deposit and payments transfer to the new date at no additional charge (one reschedule).
  • Rescheduling within 14 days of the event may incur an additional fee to cover committed costs.

6. Guest Count Reductions

Your final guaranteed guest count is due 7 days before the event and is the minimum charged. Reductions after this deadline cannot be refunded, as food and staffing are already planned around the guaranteed count.

7. Refund Method & Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to process, depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Non-Refundable Items

  • The reservation deposit.
  • Custom or specialty items already purchased specifically for your event.
  • Third-party rentals or vendor fees already committed on your behalf.
  • Delivery or travel already performed.

9. Event-Day Concerns

Your satisfaction matters to us. If something isn't right during your event, please tell our on-site team immediately so we can address it in the moment. Concerns raised after an event has concluded are reviewed on a case-by-case basis; any goodwill credit or partial refund is offered at our discretion and is not guaranteed.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party is responsible for cancellation caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, government orders, or public health emergencies. In these cases we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your event; deposits and payments will be credited toward the rescheduled date.

11. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To cancel, reschedule, or request a refund, contact us in writing as early as possible. The date we receive your written request determines which refund window applies.
